LAPP also offers a number of one-week, mixed-age sessions during the summer, each built around a separate theme. Families may enroll for as many sessions as they like.
Summer school typically runs from 9:30am - noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. LAPP can only accept alumni or enrolled students and children must be between 2 - 6 years old at the start of the session.
Summer 2016 we will be offering six mixed-age, one-week summer school sessions. As always, summer school is an informal experience—children enjoy lots of free play, art, and water/sand play, with fewer structured projects or adult-led activities than during the school year. All children bring their own snacks from home.
As with the school year, parents should expect to work once per week—families with multiple children enrolled in a session may or may not be asked to work an additional day, depending on the need of the session.
Each class, including that of incoming students, is offered a number of slots, with a waiting list from which we will draw if there is space.
Compiled class lists will be available by March 15th –changes are to be expected, however, as people’s vacation schedules change. Work parent assignments will be completed by June 3, 2016.
Time: Each session will run T, W, TH mornings, from 9:30-12:00. Enrollment is limited to 20 children, including current and incoming LAPP students.
