Teacher Ann

I am very excited to be teaching the Toddler Time class. During my previous work in mixed-age preschool programs, I found myself drawn to the youngest explorers, who so openly share their joyful discoveries. I love the emotional immediacy of these children and feel privileged to participate in their experiences. At LAPP I discovered how much a co-op model adds to the preschool experience. As their children get to know the school and establish relationships with each other, parents also form important connections and become part of an ongoing community. Before coming to this field, I worked for many years as a marriage and family therapist. I am grateful that I can continue to support families as they participate in such a nurturing and positive environment. Our classes will include singing and dancing, which are special interests of mine. In my spare time I also love to read, knit and hike.
